Library

The Central Library with excellent state-of-the-art infrastructure having a unique resource collection that is international in scope. The SMVEC Central Library is on its way to becoming an outstanding learning resource center catering to the ever-growing and uncompromising information and intellectual requirements of the students, faculty, and researchers.

The SMVEC Central Library strives for a high quality of library service, which emphasizes the actual delivery of information rather than the actual delivery of documents to meet the generic as well as specific needs of users. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using Library software that is being maintained and updated regularly, which is connected to the campus-wide network. This enables users to search and avail the library resources. It uses state-of-the-art technology in its functioning and services.

Transport

1. Effective transport facility covering every nook and corner of Puducherry, Kanagachettikulam, Cuddalore, Villupuram, Neyveli, and Tindivanam.
2. Because of the best Transport service – More than 80% of our students are availing of this facility.

Auditorium:

SMVEC Puducherry has a well-lit and well-built theater with a seating capacity of 750 people. The sophisticated sound equipment in this centrally air-conditioned hall features well-balanced acoustic designs.

Cafe/Mess Facility

The college is equipped with a fully functional vegetarian and non-vegetarian canteen to serve hygienically prepared food to the staff and students. A subsidized mess is also operative on the campus. A separate mess for boys has been provided.
