The NTA closed the UGC NET 2024 registration window on December 11, 2024 (up to 11:59 P.M.). The NTA extended the last date to apply online for the UGC NET 2024 December session. The last date for payment of the examination fee is December 12, 2024 (Up to 11:59 P.M.) instead of December 11, 2024. UGC NET 2024 December examination will be conducted between January 1 to January 19, 2025. Those candidates who have applied earlier also have to apply this time by using the new account, and a new application number will be generated. Candidates can Check the following steps to apply the UGC NET 2024 December session application form:

1. Visit the official website- ugcnet.nta.ac.in
2. Click on the ‘Application form’ link mentioned at the bottom of the home page.
3. Click on the ‘New Registration’.
4. Enter the required details and complete the registration.
5. Fill out the complete application form.
6. Upload scanned pictures of passport size photo and signature. Both images should be in JPEG format.
7. Pay the UGC NET application fee.
8. Save and submit the form.
