The Central Board of Secondary Education has started the online application process for the new Single Girl Child Scholarship for 2024 and the renewal scholarship awarded last year. Students eligible for the CBSE 2024 Single Girl Child Scholarship must apply on or before the last date, December 23 on the official website, cbse.gov.in.

2. Click on the main website link.
3. On the homepage, click here to apply beside the public notice.
4. The candidate will be redirected to another page. 
5. Now click on the apply link and fill up the application form. 
6. Click here to pay the fee and upload documents.
7. Click here to download the application form and take print.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Students will get INR 500 per month, under this scholarship scheme. All single girl students who have secured 60 per cent or above in the class 10 exam and are studying in Class 11 and 12 and whose tuition fee is not more than INR 1,500 per month are eligible for the scholarship. Further, the eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. The scholarship scheme is meant for Indian nationals only.
2. She should continue her schooling at the Class 11 and 12 level at school.
3. Candidates clearing the examination conducted by the board in CBSE Class 10 in 2024 will be assessed.
4. A scholar under the scheme while availing the scholarship can avail of other concession(s) given by the school in which she is studying other organizations.

CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarship 2024 Selection Criteria

1. The student should have passed from the Class 10 exam of CBSE with 60% or more marks.
2. For Renewal: students should have been receiving the CBSE Single Girl Child Merit Scholarship last year. They should have been a student of CBSE in the previous year in class 11 and scored 50% or above marks in class 10 and were promoted to class 11.
3. Currently, pursuing studies up to class 11 and 12 from CBSE affiliated schools.
4. Therefore, all girl students should be the only child of their parents.
5. Tuition fee not above Rs 1,500/month in Class 10 and 10 percent increment for Class 11 and 12.
6. All the applications shall be verified by the present school which the student attends. In case applications are not verified, the same shall be rejected. The facility of processing the application is provided by the school where the candidate is studying.
