Candidates who are going to appear for the GATE exam 2025 can check the GATE 2025 exam date sheet from this article. GATE 2025 aspirants can check the GATE exam date sheet for CSE, ME, EE and more here. The exam dates of GATE 2025 are starting from February 1, 2, 15 and 16. IIT Roorkee will conduct the GATE exam 2025 on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025, in two sessions: Morning and Afternoon. Students who aspire for the exam can check all the GATE 2025 Paper Pattern-related details such as the type of Questions and Marking scheme, from the table below:

There will also be a negative marking for a wrong answer chosen in an MCQ. For 1-mark MCQ, 1/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. Likewise, for 2-mark MCQ, 2/3 mark will be deducted for a wrong answer. There is no negative marking for wrong answer to MSQ or NAT questions. Also, there is no partial marking in McQ. |
GATE 2025 Admit Card
GATE 2025 Admit Card will be uploaded in January. So there will be sufficient time to study through official practice tests that will be identical. Candidates should have a printout of the admission card with them at the time of entering the exam room.
GATE 2025: Answer Key Release Dates
The GATE 2025 answer key will be released in 1-2 weeks after the completion of the GATE 2025 exam. Candidates can also obtain a response sheet before releasing the answer key through the GATE 2025 website. The candidates can compare their responses with the GATE answer key & challenge against any question for a fee. However, candidates must know that they have to pay fees for every question challenged.
The GATE 2025 portal will open a week window for raising objections against the questions. Based on the objections raised against the questions and answers, a revised answer key will be published on the portal for final reference.
GATE 2025: Result Date
The GATE 2025 result will be declared on March 19, 2025. Candidates can check their GATE 2025 results at the GOAPS portal by providing the enrollment ID and password. The scorecard of GATE 2025 will also be available on the portal.
The official GATE 2025 scorecard will be available from March 28, 2025, to May 31, 2025. After that, the scorecards would be downloadable by paying a fee of INR 500 per test paper from June 1, 2025, to December 31, 2025. Only candidates who qualify can view and download their scorecards. GATE scorecard should remain valid for three years from the date of publication of the results.
