St Xavier’s University is a Private University located in the city of Kolkata. St Xavier is a private college founded in 1860. It is located in the city of Kolkata. This college is named after St. Francis Xavier who is a Jesuit saint who traveled to India in the 16th century. Moreover, this college is made by the Jesuits, which is an all-male Catholic religious order created by Saint Ignatius of Loyola. Additionally, it became the first autonomous college in India in 2006.

Scholarship

Scholarships for economically weak but meritorious students are provided by the university. Generally, the university offers two types of scholarships through which 100% and 50arefee are waived for eligible students.

Loyola Scholarship and Rupa Scholarship (UG and PG) waive 100% of fees.

Britto Scholarship (UG and PG) waives of s 50% of fees.

Nihil Ultra Scholarship (UG only) waives 100% of fees.

Fr. Beckers Scholarship (MBA only) waives of s 50% of fees.

Snegam Scholarship and Deo Maheshwari Scholarship (MSW only) waive 100% of fees.
