Infrastructure

The institute has a spacious central library with an area of 10272 sq. f. with an extensive collection of books, scientific and technical journals, magazines, and electronic reference materials for satisfying the academic and research needs of the students and faculty. It has modern infrastructure with a reading capacity of 150 students. It has a collection of 24603 books, 37 IEEE Transactions and 23 International Journals, 59 National Journals, 19 Technical Magazine,1367+CD/DVD collections,1366+ project reports, and 15415 e-journals ( Delnet, J-Gate). It accommodates the Circulation section, Reference section, Newspaper corner, OPAC section, Journals section, and new arrivals section.

Hostel accommodation is available for boys and girls separately. Each hostel is assigned a warden who acts as the friend, philosopher, and guide to the hostel inmates. The warden maintains strict discipline and hygiene in the hostel.

It has modern infrastructure with a reading capacity of 150 students. It has a collection of 24290 books, 27 IEEE Transactions and 12 International Journals, 59 National Journals, 21 Technical Magazine,1367+CD/DVD collections,1367+ project reports, and 15289 e-journals ( Delnet, J-Gate). It accommodates the Circulation section, Reference section, Newspaper corner, OPAC section, Journals section, and new arrivals section.

The library has Open access system and is equipped with our own Manakula vinayagar library management Software suited with a Barcode Scanner that supports all in-house operations of the library. The Central Library can be accessed through the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) within the campus premises. It is Wi-Fi enabled and under CCTV surveillance. It has become an institutional member of the British Council Library, DELNET, MALIBNET-Chennai, and IEEE.

The digital library is equipped with 30 systems to access E-journals & E-books. Photocopying is made available for the convenience of the users. NPTEL Facility to access web & video lectures and Institutional Membership of DELNET for resource sharing are available in the library.

Sports Facilities

The college has sports facilities for all the students. From being a means of physical fitness, sports, and culture have also played a great role in the generation of the spirit of healthy competition and bonding within the community.

Our college has an excellent canteen with a variety of food items and snacks of excellent quality and hygiene.

The college has a spacious canteen facility on the college premises and is run by college management. A variety of South Indian food and snack items are provided to the students and the staff of the college at highly subsidized rates with the highest quality.

The canteen has a big kitchen with a steam cooking facility and the kitchen staff take extra care to provide the students and staff with nutritious and hygienic food in the campus canteen. Food items are prepared with RO-treated water. It also provides light refreshments like packed snack items, cakes, veg. puff, beverages, etc to the students and staff of the college. The canteen is open from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM on all working days.

Placements

Training and Placement Cell (TPC)- a Separate Division with conference halls and Board Rooms that Coordinates the entire Placement activities. The Training & Placement Cell is committed to providing all possible assistance to its graduates and post-graduates in their efforts to find employment. This placement cell is well coordinated by a full-time Placement Officer and supported by Department Placement Coordinators. The efforts taken by them are reflected in the preparation of our Students who can secure lucrative and esteemed positions in recent years.
