For online application at Lamrin Tech Skills University:

  1. Navigate to the official website at https://www.ltsu.ac.in/ and locate the Admission section.
  2. Register yourself by providing the necessary information.

Lamrin Tech Skills University Ropar, Eligibility For Admission:

  1. Candidates must have passed the examination prescribed by the University for the program of study.
  2. Reservation of seats for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates will be implemented according to the Government of India and UGC guidelines.
  3. Foreign nationals may be admitted according to policy guidelines laid down by the Government of India/statutory authorities of the University.
  4. Admission is generally granted at the entry-level, i.e., the first semester of the program.
  5. Lateral entry of candidates may be considered for admission to later semesters on the recommendations of the concerned authority.
  6. In-service candidates sponsored by their employers must obtain study leave to fulfill residency requirements.
  7. Admission may be canceled if a student is found medically unfit.
  8. Any false statements or fraudulent means used for admission will result in removal from the University rolls.
  9. For first-degree programs, candidates must have passed the examination conducted by a recognized Board/University at the +2 level or its equivalent.
  10. Admission is based on merit and criteria notified by the University, following UGC guidelines and government reservation policies.
  11. Student enrollment depends on available academic and physical facilities and compliance with norms regarding student-teacher ratio, facilities, etc.
  12. Students can pursue two academic programs simultaneously under certain conditions, ensuring no overlap in class timings.
  13. Degree or diploma programs pursued concurrently must have approval from UGC/Statutory Body/Government of India.
  14. Regulations notified by the UGC and respective statutory/professional councils apply to such programs.
  15. Retrospective benefits cannot be claimed by students who pursued two academic programs simultaneously before the notification of these ordinances. These guidelines apply to all programs except Ph.D.

Restrictions For Admission On Certain Grounds:

  1. No student can be admitted to two regular programs concurrently within or outside the University, except if a student pursuing a degree program in the University is permitted to enroll in part-time certificate/diploma/advanced diploma courses or programs/courses under the distance learning mode approved by the UGC. Prior permission from the University is required for additional programs under the distance mode.

  2. Part-time courses can be joined by students if they meet the eligibility requirements as per the laid-down procedure.

  3. A student who has completed a Postgraduate/Undergraduate/Certificate program/course in a particular discipline cannot be readmitted to the same program/course in that discipline.

  4. Individuals who have been suspended, rusticated, debarred, or expelled by the University's competent authority cannot claim admission to any course. Similarly, individuals under suspension or expulsion from another institution/university cannot be admitted to any course during the period of their sentence.

  5. Admission to any course can be revoked if any material information provided by the student is found to be false or incorrect.

  6. A student admitted to any course as a full-time regular student forfeits this right if they become an ex-student of the University. They are not permitted to appear in any University examination as an ex-student, except for improvement exams if permitted by the rules.

The procedure for admission at Lamrin Tech Skills University is as follows:

  1. Admission for every program is advertised nationally in leading newspapers and on the University's website. Applications must be submitted to the Director of Admissions within the specified deadline for each program.

  2. Eligibility criteria and admission processes prescribed by the University must be followed for each specific course of study.

  3. Applications for admission must be supported by a migration certificate or a no-objection certificate from the concerned University or Board. Students who have not completed their course of study at another University may be considered for admission if the pattern and syllabi are similar, subject to fulfillment of prescribed conditions regarding transfer of credits.

  4. Upon admission to a Department, Centre, or Institution maintained by the University, students must be enrolled by the University upon submission of an application duly forwarded by the concerned Dean of the Institution.

  5. The enrollment application must be supported by the original mark sheet of the qualifying examination, migration certificate or no objection certificate, prescribed fee, and a character certificate from the last attended institution.

  6. Upon enrollment, students are assigned a registration number.

  7. Admission to a program is granted upon registration as a student of the University and payment of the prescribed fee.
