Charotar University of Science and Technology is established under Law No. 1 of Gujarat. 8 of 1995, Government of Gujarat. The College Grants Commission authorized CHARUSAT to grant degrees under Section 22 of the UGC Act of 1956. Earlier campus becomes referred to as Education Campus Changa till 2009.

Facilities and Infrastructure 

Charotar University of Science and Technology, Anand has ok infrastructure like a library that helps students have a wonderful learning experience throughout their college life. It has an exquisite series of each print and digital books, journals, technical reports, returned volumes, and different studying materials. It has an adequate infrastructure to meet its needs, it has automatic use of the software in all its operations program evolved in-house, and offers gets entry to the gathering via the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC). The Resource Center contains 59,000 books, 350 magazines, access to 12,982 online journals, 1,600 e-books, and 3,400 CDs.

CHARUSAT’s cricket and football teams have won several state-level championships. The university campus has facilities for indoor and outdoor games such as badminton, table tennis, cricket, volleyball, and football.

Laboratories 

CHARUSAT hosts more than 120 state-of-the-art laboratories. Some of the labs are Fluid Mechanics and Fluid Power Engineering Lab, IC Engine andamp; Automotive Engineering, Kinematics &DOM Lab, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Laboratory, Alternative Energies Laboratory, Aseptic Laboratory, Pharmaceutical Technologies Laboratory, and Instrumental and Extra Analytical Laboratory. 

transport Facilities 

CHARUSAT has signed contracts for the supply of means of transport to university students. A fleet of 25 buses to and fro for transporting college students and staff from different places in Ahmedabad and Vadodara each day. Students are alleged to pay directly to the tour corporation both every year or in six-month-to-month installments.

Admission 

Candidates should appear for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main). Along with this, candidates should pass the 10+2 examination with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate with PCM from CBSE/ICSE/State Board.

The journey and Education Campus of Charotar University

Changa (now CHARUSAT Campus) started as a single Institute in the year 2000 with the establishment of Charotar Institute of Technology - Changa (CITC). It was the first institute and now it is known as Chandubhai S Patel Institute of Technology (CSPIT). The journey began with only with 240 students, 4 programmes, 1 institute and an investment of Rs. 3 Crores.
