Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham extended the deadline for AEEE 2025 Phase 1 registration. The deadline was supposed to be set on January 20, and it has recently been rescheduled to January 25, 2025. This extension period gives hopeful registrants more than enough time to register for the highly competitive entrance examination. The AEEE 2025 Phase 1 exam will be conducted on February 1 and 2, 2025. The slot booking dates for AEEE 2025 phase 1 and the release date of the admit card will be announced by Amrita on the official website later.
The AEEE will be taken as a computer-based test in 138 centres in India: Andaman & Nicobar Islands, and Dubai, UAE. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in three slots each day from 08:30 AM to 11:00 AM, 12:00 noon to 02:30 PM, and 03:30 PM to 06:00 PM. The AEEE 2025 should be conducted in two phases by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. Although the dates for the Phase 1 exams are confirmed, the dates for the Phase 2 exams are tentative and will be announced later in April 2025. The AEEE 2025 is open to candidates who are currently in Class 12 or those who have already graduated in 2024. The exam will cover subjects including Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and English. The updated AEEE 2025 syllabus and exam pattern are available on the official website. It is a 2-hour and 30-minute paper with 100 MCQs: 40 from Mathematics, 30 from Physics, 25 from Chemistry, and 5 from English. Three marks for a correct answer, one mark will be deducted for an incorrect one.
Selected students will be given BTech programs in Amrita's engineering campuses located at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, Faridabad, and Nagercoil. Admission procedures include AEEE registration, booking of examination slots, download of admit cards, examination, checking of ranks, and finally Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). The candidate will be allowed to choose a preferred program in any of the campuses through CSAP.
Admission to the BTech programmes at Amrita is done strictly on ranks in AEEE as well as in JEE Main. 70% of seats are allocated based on AEEE scores, and the rest 30% are filled through JEE Main ranks. Applicants can apply for either AEEE or JEE Main or both.
