What is Manipal MET ?

Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) conducts the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) every year to select candidates for admission to its partner campuses. Based on their scores in MET, candidates will be able to apply for B.Tech courses offered by Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, Manipal University, Jaipur, Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology and Manipal Institute of Technology, Bengaluru. MET is conducted as a computer-based test at various centres and candidates will have to attempt objective multiple-choice questions.

Manipal MET 2025 Application Form

1. Candidates will be able to fill the application form through online mode, no offline method will be accepted by the university.
2. The Manipal MET 2025 application form will be released from the second week of October 2024 for Phase 1.

To apply for the Manipal MET 2025 exam, candidates can check the complete steps given below:

Step-1: Visit the Manipal MET website (https://www.manipal.edu).

Step-2: On the homepage, click on the “Apply Now” link.

Step-3: Start the registration process by entering the basic details.

MET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

If candidates want to participate in the MET 2025 admission process, they must fulfil the eligibility criteria given below.

For B.Tech. Course:

1. Qualification: Candidates must have passed the class 10+2 level or its equivalent examination, from any recognised board.
2. Subjects: In the qualifying exam, candidates must have passed with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
3. Marks: Candidates must have passed their class 12th level with at least 50% marks to be eligible.
4. Appearing: Candidates appearing in class 12th level will also be eligible to apply for the exam.

For M.Tech. Course:

1. Qualification: Candidates having graduated in BTech/BE from any recognised university/institute will be eligible to apply.
2. Marks: Candidates securing 50% marks in aggregate in the qualifying exam will be eligible to apply.
3. Scorecard: Candidates who have passed the GATE exam will also be eligible to apply.

For MBA Course:

1. Qualification: Applicants must have passed with a graduation degree in any stream from any recognised institute to apply.
2. Marks: Candidates must have secured a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate in qualifying marks.
3. Scorecard: Candidates with valid MAT/XAT/CAT or CMAT scorecards will also be eligible to apply.

Manipal MET 2025 Admit Card

The MET 2025 admit card will be generated after the slot booking process is completed. To download the MET admit card 2025, candidates need to log in using their application form number and OTBS password. The officials will also send the hall ticket to the candidates via email. While reporting at the exam centre, candidates need to present their MET 2025 hall ticket along with an original valid ID proof. Through the MET admit card, candidates will be able to check details about their allotted exam centre, date, time, guidelines and more. Candidates will be able to get different hall tickets for different stages of the exam.

How to download MET 2025 Admit Card?

1. Candidates should visit the official website for MET – manipal.edu
2. Next, applicants have to enter their MET application number and password which is sent to their registered ID. 
3. Upon entering and logging in, the admit card of the candidate will be displayed. They are advised to download it and save it for future requirements.

MET 2025 Result

The of MET 2025 result will be declared online at manipal.edu. Candidates will be able to access the marks and rank obtained in the entrance exam through the MET result 2025. The authorities will also send the candidates their obtained MET 2025 rank and score via SMS. No request for review of obtained marks and rank will be accepted. Based on the performance of the candidates in the entrance exam, seats will be allotted by the authorities.

MET Exam 2025 Cut Off

The university will release the Manipal MET 2025 cut-off through online mode. The cut-off will be published based on various factors such as marks obtained and difficulty level. These will be the minimum marks that candidates must score in the exam to become eligible for the further counselling process.

It will be mandatory to obtain the MET cut-off marks to participate in the Manipal MET 2025 counselling process. Based on the cut-off marks, candidates will be invited to participate in the admission process. The cut-off for candidates of all categories will be available in PDF format.

MET 2025 Counselling

The MET 2025 counselling process will be conducted online. Eligible candidates need to log in using their application number and password to register for the MET counselling 2025 process. After updating their profile, candidates need to pay the MET 2025 counselling fee of INR 10,000 online, i.e. through net banking/credit card/debit card (adjustable with tuition fee). The list of courses and campuses has to be submitted in the order of preference. MET 2025 seat allotment will be announced online. Seats will be allotted based on the candidate's rank, preference and seat availability. Selected candidates must confirm their admission before the last date, or else their allotment will be cancelled.
