GMAT Syllabus 2024

What is the GMAT Syllabus?: In the GMAT Update Syllabus section of this article, we tell you about the new GMAT Syllabus (i.e. GMAT Focus Edition Syllabus).

The GMAT syllabus for the GMAT Focus Edition differs from the GMAT syllabus for the current exam. AWA (Analytical Writing Assessment) and SC (Sentence Correction) have been removed. Additionally, a new section called Data Insights (DI) has been published, based on IR (Integrated Reasoning) and also includes DS (Data Sufficiency). GMAT Exam Syllabus 2024 Sections

The GMAT Focus Edition tutorial is divided into three parts, totalling 2 hours and 15 minutes. The GMAT Focus curriculum consists of several subjects divided into the following sections:

This Verbal Skills section has 23 multiple-choice questions. This section of GMAT Focus is divided into Critical Reasoning and Reading. This section tests candidates' ability to understand written material and to read and understand the logical relationship between the points and concepts mentioned in the passage

Critical Reasoning

The GMAT Critical Reasoning syllabus consists of various arguments that measure candidates' ability to analyze argument structure, evaluate arguments and premises, formulate or evaluate an action plan, strengthen/weaken an argument, conclude an argument, etc.

Reading Comprehension

It measures candidates' ability to conclude, understand logical connections between important points, understand words and arguments, and follow the development of quantitative concepts. The GMAT Reading Comprehension (RC) syllabus contains short and long passages that test candidates on the following reading skills: reasoning, application, main idea, supporting idea, logical structure, and style.
