Ques. What is AIBE?
Ans. The Bar Council of India (BCI) has started conducting the All India Bar Examination 2011 for all law graduates who obtained their law degree in 2009-10. The purpose of AIBE is for the Bar Council to assess the fundamental influencing skills of law graduates. Those who pass the exam will receive a "Practice Certificate". Therefore, it is required for all law graduates who wish to practice as advocates or lawyers in India.
Ques. What is AIBE XIX (19) Eligibility Criteria 2024?
Ans. Candidates who have completed three or five years of LLB degree can appear for the exam. In addition, they must register with the bar association of the state, preferably where they intend to practice law. Those with a law degree or certificate and those not admitted to the bar cannot take the AIBE.
