What is the SNAP Exam?

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP Test is a common admission test conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed) University for admission to the MBA/PGDM programmes offered by its 16 constituent institutes. SIU offers MBA / PGDM courses in several popular and specialised fields. JK Business School Gurgaon also accepts SNAP scores for MBA admissions. 

The SNAP exam is a speed-based test and the question paper contains 60 MCQs on General English, Quantitative Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The duration of the exam is 60 minutes without a time limit. SNAP is administered through a computer-based test (CBT). Applicants can attempt three companies in SNAP 2024. Admission to SIU is based on the best of three grades.

SNAP 2024: Exam Highlights

SNAP 2024 Exam Dates

The SNAP 2024 exam Date is scheduled to be held on December 8, 15, and 21, 2024. The exam is conducted by Symbiosis International University (SIU) for admission to various MBA/PGDM programs offered by its affiliated institutes.

SNAP 2024 Application Form

Candidates can check the details of SNAP 2024 application form given below:

1. snap exam application form 2024 has been released on 5th August 2024.
2. To fill the application form, candidates need to fill all the mandatory details in the form.
3. The authority has released the application form through online mode. There is no offline mode available for the candidates.
4. The authority will provide the correction facility till the last date of the application form.
5. The authority will not accept corrections in name, date of birth, category, city of test and date of test.
6. At the time of filling the form, candidates need to provide details like personal details, academic details.
7. Upload the recent passport size photograph in the snap exam application form

8. To complete the registration procedure, submit the application fee through online or offline mode.
9. Candidates are advised to submit the application fee on or before 22nd November 2024.
10. For the subsequent admission procedure, candidates must retain the printed copy of the application form.

SNAP Exam application fee

1. The application fee for each candidate is Rs. 2250.
2. The application fee can be submitted both online and offline.
3. The application fee submitted is non-refundable.
4. Candidates can use Bill Desk payment gateways and Ease Buzz payment gateways to make online transactions.
5. Demand draft facility can be used to submit the application fee offline.
6. The DD should be issued in any nationalized bank in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretary” and should be paid at Pune.

SNAP Eligibility Criteria 2024

Applicants must meet the SNAP 2024 eligibility criteria before proceeding to fill out the application form:

Nationality: To apply for the exam, candidates must be Indian/NRI/OCI/PIO or Foreign National.

Marks: Candidates who have graduated from any recognized university or institute of national importance with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination and (45% marks or equivalent marks for reserved category) are eligible to apply for the exam.

Qualification: Candidates applying for SNAP must have a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from any recognized university.

Applicant: Candidates appearing for the final year of the qualifying examination in 2025 are also eligible to apply for SNAP 2024.

SNAP 2024 Exam Pattern

SNAP exam pattern 2024 is similar to other MBA entrance exams, i.e. it is an MCQ-based test. It is one of the easiest MBA entrance exams of all. Check below the highlights of the SNAP exam pattern 2024:

1. The SNAP exam duration is 60 minutes without a break or sectional time limit.
2. The total number of questions is 60.
3. SNAP General English section has 15 questions, A-LR has 25 questions and QA, DI-DS has 20 questions.
4. The total mark of the exam is 60.
5. Every question carries 1 mark and there is a negative marking of - 0.25 marks for every wrong attempt.
6. Up to three attempts are allowed for every aspirant (you will have to pay the fee per attempt).
7. The difficulty level of the SNAP exam is easy to moderate.

SNAP 2024 Syllabus

The SNAP Exam syllabus covers a wide range of topics across three main sections: General English, Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.

SNAP Exam Preparation

SNAP is an easy exam, one must make sure thay are well prepared for it. To prepare for SNAP 2024, candidates start preparation at least six months in advance. 

1. Candidates must study the topics included in SNAP syllabus and practice previous years' SNAP question papers.
2. The SNAP preparation plan should included weekly and monthly targets so that the syllabus is covered holistically and candidates get ample time to practice questions/mock test.
3. Practicing the official SNAP mock test and revision in the last month is crucial. A major part of the success depends on the number and quality of SNAP mock tests you have attempted successfully.
4. They must be thorough with the concepts and formulae of Quantitative Aptitude, Data Interpretation, Reasoning and Verbal Ability. 
5. Studying in time bound manner will help in covering the syllabus timely which will allow more time for practice sessions.

SNAP Admit Card 2024

SNAP Exam 2024 Admit Card will be issued on 2nd December 2024 for Examination 1. The authority will issue the admit card through online mode. Candidates will be required to use their login credentials such as SNAP ID and password to download the admit card.

Only those candidates who have submitted the registration form through online mode before the deadline will be eligible to download the admit card. Candidates are advised to retain the printout of the SNAP 2024 admit card for the day of examination. Candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without having a valid admit card along with the photo ID.

SNAP 2024 Answer Key

The authority will publish the SNAP 2024 answer key before announcing the result on the website. It will be published online only. With the help of the answer key, candidates will have a rough idea of ​​the marks they will get in the entrance exam.

It will consist of all the correct answers required in the SNAP 2024 entrance exam. In case the candidates are not satisfied with the answer key, they can raise an objection against the answer key. After considering all the objections raised, the authority will release the final answer keys.

SNAP Result 2024

SNAP exam 2024 Result date will be released on 8th January 2025 by the authority. Only the candidates who appear for the entrance exam will be able to download the results. It will be announced through online mode on the website.

To access the result, candidates will have to provide their login credentials such as login ID and password. After providing the valid details, the result will appear on the screen. SNAP 2024 Cut Off

SNAP Entrance Exam 2024 scores will be accepted by 16 Symbiosis institutes for MBA Admission 2024. Candidates who score high in SNAP exam will be shortlisted for MBA Admission 2024 in the best Symbiosis institute - SIBM Pune, SCMHRD Pune, etc.

There will be various factors on which the cut-off marks will depend such as the difficulty level of the exam, the number of students appearing for the exam, etc. The authority will release the category-wise SNAP 2024 Cut-Off mark for each category of candidates on the website.

SNAP 2024 Admission Process

Candidates who pass the SNAP 2024 exam will have to clear the subsequent selection rounds to get admission. Candidates will have to participate in the various rounds such as Group Exercise (GE) and Personal Interaction (PI). The SNAP exam admission process will be organized after the declaration of results.

Based on the overall performance of the candidates in all the rounds, the authority will prepare the final merit list. There will be no centralized counselling organized by the SIU. The weightage of the various tests in the final merit list is given below:
